Residents gather for many exciting festivals throughout the year, including the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival. Taking place in December, this four-day festival showcases many of the country’s top chefs at its finest venues. Other notable festivals include the Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade and the Palm Beach Book Festival.
Palm Beach is known for having some of the state’s best courses, characterized by their rolling fairways and manicured greens. Book a tee time at Ocean Course at The Breakers, famous for being Florida’s oldest golf course. The course has been around for over a century and offers tropical landscapes, continuous cart paths, and even the occasional ocean view. Since its 2018 renovation, Ocean Course at The Breakers has appealed to everyone from rookies to experienced golfers.
Art and history enthusiasts can look forward to spending the afternoon exploring the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum. This Gilded Age mansion is spread over 100,000 square feet and consists of 75 rooms. Originally completed in 1902, it now serves as a National Historic Landmark and is open to the public for self-guided tours, changing exhibitions, and special programs.
